5 Hours after the crack of dawn, we finally wake up. Wiping the crust from our eyes and rustling for water for our dried throats. We were Disney World bound.
Quickly climbed into our marvelous chariot – waiting to take us there (It’s a 2005 Accord, let me dream).
Through the pearly gates and welcoming characters from our favorite Disney classics. We paid the royal price of admission, $84.00 + $14.00 to park our chariot and make sure its in good hands in the Goofy parking lot. Nothing but the best.
Took a picture of our spot. In case we become impaired.
For that price, we felt like we owned the place and deserved to be treated like royalty.
Strolling with our chins up high, the entire staff seemed to all acknowledge us with a pleasant smile. Asking to help us find our way to asking if we wanted to upgrade our drinks for another $5 dollars.
Our quest for alcohol was a failure (beer, wine, spirits). The best thing we could get was root beer in a Donald Duck cup. Outside of that – well worth the money.
We had to leave shortly after sunset to meet our schedule back to Atlanta, GA.
It was a bummer since we will be missing the fireworks show. Lynn and I have a long drive back. Still – well worth it. Next time, need to make sure we go to the Animal Kingdom, Disney MGM Studios, Epcot, etc. Farewell Mickey n friends!
