Osaka Ruckus
In there whereabouts of Osaka, we found ourselves into Hostel 64. A pretty butt kickin’ place where a lot of other foreigners like us are. The traditional Japanese outfitted hostel provided all the basic amenities of home with shuriken for self defense. Being invaded by mongols was the last thing I had going though my head. Anyways, we ran into two new friends; Ben, a student from England and Ines, a two year traveling student from Germany. We made our way for some ‘not so bad sushi’ in Namba, then decided to cause a ruckus on a Tuesday night. Dropped by a few bars and a 7-11 for shoju n beer. Finally ended up at some R&B night club. Apparently, at clubs they dance to the DJ – didn’t know. Made them all dance with us drunk American/German/Australian tourists anyways. No one seemed to care – we sure didn’t.
At the end, it only cost our subway which ended at 12:00AM it was 3:00AM. Walked around lost for a few before we decided to call a cab. It’s a sign you are walking the wrong direction when the taxi makes a u-turn to take you home (hostel).
