The Ambitious Faux-tographer

Today, the Marin Headlands for a few hours of rest and relaxation with the guys and our camera gear. The ambitious 4 set out to get some mileage on our equipment and exchange some tech talk and how cool it is. It’s love, that’s all I can say. I haven’t shot in awhile so my D700 paired with the 24-70mm went on a date. Here are some of the pictures of my friends in their element with their gear.

Pictured here and above is Michael Monh. He isn’t particularly a photographer or a videographer like his brother Mo, but he’s always willing to try anything, today, the faux-tographer. The everywhere and anything handyman of the group is another way to put it. He’s pictured here running up to the top of the vista point… to take a picture of something wicked (i think..). I captured someone’s goal in it’s most RAW (haha) form. I wasn’t too sure what he wanted, but I knew he wanted something. And to capture that frame was a blessing to me. I think this was a lucky shot, but I was able to get his determined look. The wind and his clothing added motion. Framing give him a path in his direction. Moral of the blog, always feel free to try and do – you’ll never know what you’ll fall in love with.
