NAAAP, the National Association of Asian American Professionals – a non profit organization created to positively promote and influence professionals in all stages and walks of life holds their annual convention. It is held to showcase leaders, keynotes, seminars, workshops, and even career fair open to the public. So, no it’s not about sleeping at all if that was what you were putting your money on.
This year, it was held at the historic Palace Hotel in San Francisco – ridiculously gorgeous, and if you don’t believe me it’s right on Market and New Montgomery and reread this article. A hidden gem of the city is how I would put it. Probably will cost you a few gems of your own to stay and dine there also.
Why am I writing about this? So we were invited to photograph the event that weekend for general coverage and their red carpet event sponsored by Macy’s that Saturday evening. Covering portions of the keynotes and seminars – empowering just to be modest about all of it. I wish I could have just gone as an attendee, but there’s pictures to be made! All of the photographs will be available later this week on their website. Be sure to check it out soon.
